  Alex Barber's Origami site a great source for diagrams and much more.
  Fabric Origami a site talking about using fabric instead of paper for origami patterns.

  George W. Hart's Virtual Polyhedra has many extremely interesting renderings of solids that could be formed out of origami.
• Somewhat relevant local Edmonton sites
  Kurimoto Japanese Garden at Devonian Botanical Garden : The Consulate General of Japan regularly holds a spring festival there that features many Japanese art forms.
  Consulate General of Japan: is now based in Calgary.
  Kites & Other Delights: has a decent selection of Origami books and papers.
  Daily Books & Gifts : has some very interesting books and papers and regularly comes out to our Folding Festival.
