There are constants other than
Pi!?

Xavier Gourdon's PiFast versions 4.x+
calculates user defined series.....

and Steve Pagliarulo's QPi does a very fast SquareRoot of 2 as well as blasts out 'e' like no one's business, so I thought....

Which ones calculate 1-meg digits of
constants like 'e', sqrt-2, or zeta(3) the fastest?

Please note - PiFast and QPi are like apples and oranges. PiFast uses text file modules (*.pifast files) which sacrifice speed for the ability to test different algorithms on the same constant. PiFast also makes use of HD I/O, allowing for large calculations. QPi is pure speed - so the times below are not always fair comparisons.
