How much does it cost to restore a photograph?
Each restoration and enhancement is unique. A typical restoration takes 30 minutes to an hour. We always provide a quotation prior to starting any work.
Can I send a digital file instead of the original?
We prefer digitall photos. To ensure high quality, please contact us before you send any digitized files.
Why should I have my photos, slides, and negatives scanned?
You can protect your collection of VHS tapes, photographs, slides, and negatives by transferring them to a digital format. Once they are electronically saved, the images will never fade, scratch, or stain again. You can easily view, preserve, sort, and share these memories.
What file formats are available for scans?
We offer TIFF, PDF, and JPEG formats.  TIFF is an uncompressed format that usually produces a large file size. JPEG (jpg) is a high quality compressed format with a smaller file size. Documents may be saved as PDF files. Movies are saved in MPG format.
Why should I transfer my VHS tapes to DVD?
VHS tapes have a limited lifespan. In fact, they can deteriorate within a few years. They also risk accidental erasure, breaking, tangling, and degradation due to normal use. DVD copies, however, do not wear out, are easier to store and view, and is today's standard for movie viewing. You can fit up to two hours of video on one DVD.
What is the difference between gloss and non-glossy photographic paper?

Do you work with copywritten material?
We do not transfer or work on any material that appears to be copyrightten unless you provide us with written permission from the copyright holder.

Where can I track my shipment?
We ship all orders using Canada Post Xpresspost unless otherwise requested.  The actual cost of the shipping is added to your invoice. The average cost for a typical shipment within Canada is $10.00 - $20.00 for a typical shipment within Canada and includes $100.00 insurance. You can track your shipment on the Canada Post website using your Canada Post Tracking Number.
