Introduction

Formspace Building Design & Management Corporation is a full service design and building company with a focus on ancient design parameters and sustainable building practices. It was formed from an independent research undertaking into the beliefs, cultures, art and philosophies predominant in the ancient world.
Coupling this body of information with the latest discoveries in the sciences there is growing evidence that the ancients shared a high degree of advancement and sophistication that they embodied symbolically in their architecture.
Today we are seeing evidence that suggests possible explanations as to why they took such care and deliberation in the construction of their timeless monuments; we are learning that environmental factors affect our psychology while also discovering that our psychology affects our environment. What we can gather from this is that the goal is to create an environment that is well balanced, healthy and aesthetically pleasing.

At Formspace we have an advanced outlook on what buildings do. Promoting health through environment is a concept backed by an exponentially growing knowledge base that organizations such as the Canada Green Building Council and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design initiatives are contributing to constantly. Health is a value, and it must be shared by everyone and everything at a fundamental level in order to maintain its effectiveness. We don't see this movement as a building trend. We visualize a return to simple natural values that contribute to a healthy organic whole while still maintaining identity, elegance and style. Further, we are able to incorporate this advanced outlook in building design and construction easily because of our extensive experience in building construction.
