High Voltage Does not necessarily have any straight definition.  High Voltage could be anywhere from 50 volts all the way up to a million volts   Here at ForceLabs high voltage is anything that can potentially maim or hurt me which I think is always a good rule to live by.  High Voltages have many uses such as providing power to your home, X-rays, lasers and the like but in our case its for experimentation and fun!

A Collection of Simple Experiments Using An Automotive Ignition Coil.  Such as Jacobs Ladder, Low Pressure Plasma Globes (Bulbs), and just plain arcs.

A Collection Of Three Jacobs Ladders all powered by my Ignition Coil.

An Ever Growing Attempt (always acquiring new supplies) at a Series Resonant Transformer.  When finished (soon) it will be capable of creating 2' discharges.

A demonstration of the power of an MOT or Microwave Oven transformer (In the picture to the left the green color is due to the burning of the copper wire being used as electrodes)
