Here at ForceLabs, the
intent was not to make an electromagnetic weapons to hurt something,
but to explore and test the many uses and harness the sheer
power that comes along with this type of event. Although
no Coil gun or microwave gun will ever replace conventional weapons
mostly because of size and weight, electromagnetism has many, many
other uses. Most recently a track fixed rocket was accelerated to
extreme speeds using, almost rail gun technology.
Electromagnetic acceleration seems to have the most uses in the near
future with the space program and rocket propulsion. Its
only just begun...

This is a revision of my first coil gun. I arranged it in a Plexiglas
case and added more capacitors for better performance as well as
Voltage Monitoring and Improved Switching.
