Barracuda Page 3

Both of these bold beasts were released together by Supercar Collectibles in March 2005. Don't count on them blending into your collection; the Lemon Twist Yellow and Sublime Green paint jobs ensure alot of attention! These are both high quality diecasts, with smooth, even finishes. The AAR continues the line of the specialty race pieces produced by Highway 61, and Sublime is sporting the ever-so-slick power bulge hood, the only model released with it up to this point in time!

One of 504 produced, this Burnt Orange 1970 AAR Cuda from Highway 61 has all the goodies you would expect, along with an exact reproduction of the original Chrysler paint, down to the extremely fine metal flakes.

The grand daddy of all 1/4 mile wheelstanders! The famed "Hemi Under Glass". This was a tricked out '66 Barracuda with a 1500 Horsepower 426 Hemi, made by Hurst Shifters, and driven by Bob Riggle. Highway 61 paid tribute to it, in diecast, in 2002! I've got two of them, and Oh Hey, the bottom one has Bob Riggles' signature on it! I just had to have it!

Fall 2005....three more 1968 Barracudas from Highway 61...the usual features... typical unusual quality...Yellow, Hawaiian Blue and Red paint schemes capture the spirit of the day.

Some more handiwork by Backyard Conversions! Supercar Collectibles commissioned 102 of the Sublime Green 440's, and only 50 of the Sassy Grass Green Billboards, to be converted to droptops. This gives a chance to fully appreciate the detail of the interiors. The cars have a plastic wrap to keep the doors and trunk closed, and I will be leaving the wrap in place....for now.

What a striking profile! This angle of 1971 'Cuda shows the correct proportions Highway 61 put into this mold. Another incredible product; this use of the white and black contrast make it an attractive display piece.

Specially commissioned by Supercar Collectibles, these two drop tops were also converted by, you guessed it, Backyard Conversions. Only 102 of each were made.
