Barracuda Page 2

It's as if Supercars couldn't decide whether to offer Highway 61's Tor Red Hemi 'Cuda with a white or a black billboard, so they offered them both! Even though they are very detailed representations of the real McCoy, their production runs were plagued with numerous quality issues...but being a devoted collector, I still ordered one of each! Only 1250 of each car was made, and both came with the unique orange colored seats.

This 1970 AAR 'Cuda has all the features you expect from Highway 61. One of the neatest are the scaled down hood pins used to keep the hood closed. The Goodyears are very well detailed, and proportioned not only to the car, but the E60-15's in front are proportional to the G60-15's in back! A real nice collectible, if you can find one!

Goodness gracious....the Hemi....the 1970 'Cuda....the Shaker Hood....the Ralley Red paint....the hot red interior....the quality of H61....Great Balls of Fire!

Limited Editions of Limited Editions! 504 Violet AAR 'Cudas were issued with white interiors, and 1002 Ralley Red HemiCudas were done with a black interior, 250 of which were converted to convertibles, making this one 1 of 752!

...and speaking of the convertible..."Backyard Conversions" at their best!

From the valley of the Sassy Grass Green giant! Is this ever a neat looking diecast! This 1971 'Cuda 440 is one of the first two that Highway 61 produced sporting the bold billboards! The black enhances the attention getting green skin to give it a mean, almost menacing, look!

Yet another variation on the Highway 61 In-Violet AAR. This pup was the 1/18 scale diecast featured at the 2004 Mopar Nationals. It is one of only 504 that had a vinyl top specially added for the event. The first time I had even seen one was on an eBay auction...the one that I eventually won.
