Storm had her picture taken in front of CF-GYF in 1990. The plane didn't look like much then but Storm knew, before I did, that we were destined to buy it! This is what she (Storm and the Stinson) looked like before the first-partial rebuild. We limited our work to installing new fabric on the fuselage (wings were covered with aluminum) stripping all the paint and applying an enamel paint job.

11 Years later in 2001 we did it right. Over a one year period we stripped the aircraft to the bone. Removed the aluminum from the wings. Installed an all new, handcrafted interior and new wings and fuselage fabric, with a light weight poly-paint job. New electrics, including radio, strobes and mode C transponder. To finish it off we installed Madras booster tips, cleveland wheels and brakes and a 210 h.p. Continental IO-360-D swinging an 80 inch McCauley 2A34C203/90DCA-10 constant speed prop. I've included lots of photo's so those with low speed internet please be patient. I hope you find it worth the wait.
