This seminar is designed to update information on psychodynamics and introduces emerging tools such as psychodramatic therapeutics and breakthroughs in environmental design which can be used to initiate specific impact on our minds and bodies. We will inspire a deeper awareness of the electrochemical nature of emotion and how our thought process can heal or hurt us.
In 2002, Finkleman's paper 'Psychodynamic Frontiers -- Counseling, Healing and the Medicine Man's Bundle' was published as a chapter in the university text Its About Relationships (Pabst 2002).
July of 2000 Finkleman presented a seminar entitled 'The Frontiers Of Psychodynamics' for the International Council of Psychologists' Annual Conference in Padua, Italy. The paper was subsequently published by the ICP.

The future of Psychodrama

This workshop begins by adding new words to the language of psychodrama, permitting the field to extend from the use of ancient rituals through to the inclusion of contemporary neurological sciences. It examines the traditional Medicine Man's 'Act Of Becoming', Moreno's model for 'Spontaneous Response', Stanislavsky's 'Theory of Psychophysical Action', Stuart Heller's advances in movement psychology and P.V. Simonov's breakthroughs in neurophysiology, among others.
Through experiential exercises, you can learn new approaches towards the better use of psychodrama and psychodramatic therapeutic techniques for professional, academic and general health applications. Applications range from creating and reinforcing healthy inner change to modeling how your family, associates, students or market might perceive, interpret and respond to specific situations.Can be tailored for the audience.
Harold Finkleman's "Using Psychodrama" Continuing Education Workshop presented for the International Council of Psychologists' Annual Conference (1999) qualified attendees for four Professional Continuing Education Credits as approved by the ICP and the American Psychologists' Association.
