Sofia is now 9 months old! She no longer takes any medications and we can concentrate on her physical and mental development. She has developed a great sense of humor and appears to be a very happy little girl. She is still taking her liquids through the NG tube, but we hope that with time she will learn to drink from a sipping cup. She rolls over on her own and can be left sitting in her little playseat for quite a while. She seems to want to crawl but prefers to roll over to get to where she wants to go. We want to discourage this in order to get her crawling which will give her arms and legs better strength. Only time will tell!

Sofia just loves the 'Jolly Jumper'! She has a wonderful time in it, always laughing, smiling, and jabbering away! It's very difficult to capture the moments because of the motion, and this is the best picture I've been able to get!

Sofia cannot yet bring herself to a sitting position -- that will be a while yet. In the meantime, she loves when we put her in a sitting up position in her play chair, her high chair, or a corner of the sofa or her crib. As usual she is as smiley as ever -- what a happy little kid!
