HOME SWEET HOME

Meeting Sofia at the Airport

They were only gone for two weeks, but it was great to see them back. I met them at the airport and drove them home. I didn't stay to visit as I knew they'd want to get settled back in, but I had fun with Sofia at the airport while they were waiting for their baggage. Sofia didn't see me right away -- she was too busy looking at all the things going on around her.

New Things

Sofia is changing quickly. She is beginning to learn a lot of new things. I just can't remember exactly what it was she said, but it was something like 'Oh Oh!' or similar. She still only has two words, 'Cat' and 'Tata' but she is getting very good at pronouncing the sounds that various letters make, as well as 'Woof Woof!' and 'Meow'!

All The Comforts Of Home!

Sofia has a new armchair which is just the right size for her. She sits in it while she watches her TV or Videos.

More Learning With Momma!

Sofia has quite a number of books. She loves when we read to her. Momma spends more time with her than anyone, of course!

A New 'Trick'!

Sofia will sometimes approach the TV, and when Momma tells her to go sit down, she walks BACKWARDS so as not to miss any of the action! This is a sign of good motor skills.
