The "Keep" of Nagzaroth
| The "Keep" of Nagzaroth is so called not because it is a keep but because it is a dungeon that keeps any and all who are so foolish as to decend into its dank murky depths. Come, let's have a tour and see what fools have decended today .... |

Here's an overview of the layout of the "Keep". It may look deceptively
small but what does size matter to the dead?
Come, let us have a closer look! |
|
This is the entrance. There's not much here but a single flight of steps
down leading to a large wooden door. Funnily enough, although no one has
ever survived to come back out, the door is always closed whenever someone
is foolish enough to decend.
Today we have a mightily armed and armoured warrior. He looks stout enough to survive, but for how long? |

Oh no! It's a Giant Spider Invasion! Run!!!!!
As soon as kids are old enough to walk they are always told to watch both ways when crossing the path to avoid being run over by a horse-drawn cart, but how many of them get told to always look up when skulking in a dungeon? Surprisingly, very few. |
|
Some people just don't know when to give up, do they? The "Keep" is open
to anyone foolish enough to go down its stairs as long as they
are warm and breathing when the enter, not that they will stay that way
for long!
This goblin has fallen prey to a classic portcullis trap. Normally he would simply stay there and slowly pass away and rot but the green slime has decided that it's time for a little bit of clean-up duty. Silly goblin, swords are not for slimes! |

Here we've got a minotaur who's kicked in a door only to find a room full of undead. Not a good move. He was smart enough to avoid the portcullis (who do you think threw the goblin down the hall to see if it was trapped?) but now he's wishing he was taking his chances with the goblin! |
|
Here's another look at what's awaiting that poor minotaur; two skeletons
and a mummy. The skeletons he just might be able to take on but that
mummy's gonna give him a lot of trouble.
Of course if he survives, there's always those piles of green on the side of the wall. They only look like a harmless growth of moss, but what are they REALLY? The other question is what is there here that keeps people coming? There doesn't look to be any vast hordes of treasure lying about. There must be some secret door somewhere that opens up into further reaches of the "Keep"! |
