Phoenix was the third of nine "miracle babies" to arrive at FeatherQuest on Nov. 23, 2003.

This feisty young girl sealed her fate and her place at FeatherQuest with a 4 a.m.

trip to the vet at day five with inhalation pneumonia. The resulting round-the-clock monitoring

and bonding found us having a special place in our hearts for her. Phoenix is a princess and she knows it.

She loves the show ring, and is a dream to handle. Her hunting ability mirrors her grandmother Madey

in that she exhibits a fierce determination in the field. Phoenix also possesses a very strong stylish point

and natural backing ability.
