Demos done with Larry and Bobby Paine. They apparently stole the song "100 Downers" (also known as "One More Beer") from Philo and gave it to the Go-Gos, who stopped playing it when they found out it was stolen. The Paine brothers then created Josie Cotton, who got a lot of attention for the track.

Songs recorded during these sessions are confirmed to have included "We Gotta Get Out Of This Place", "I Don't Care About You" and "Hank Williams Was Queer".

The TV miniseries "Nightmares" from 1983 features the music of FEAR (as well as a cameo appearance by Mr. Ving himself). The songs "I Don't Care About You" and "Let's Have A War" are heard, both in a slightly different and more primitive-sounding form than their album counterparts. It's possible that these songs were recorded with the Paine brothers, as "I Don't Care About You" is a match, and the musicality of the two cuts seems to match with live recordings from 1980.

John Belushi demos, for the movie Neighbors. Some tracks purportedly feature John on vocals. Derf has mentioned that some tracks from these sessions ended up on the More Beer LP. Spit Stix Unknown

This doesn't fit with the theme of the site, but I found it to be notable.

"In 1992 we did some demos in NYC right before disbanding." -Spit Stix

It is also of note that Lee Ving produced a solo demo, featuring songs played by the band during their 92-93 reunion tour, in 1993. The demo featured Josh Freese, later of the Vandals and Devo (as well as the Offspring) on drums.
