He said it
“In short, I'm a sports writer based in Vancouver, British Columbia. More specifically, I'm an author, editor, and columnist with the utmost passion for hockey and writing. With the hopes of shaking the "one-dimensional" tag that my résumé suggests, I can also attest that I'm a proud and active member of the Ismaili Muslim community, I’ve learned to love and appreciate music, and thus, I've taken a significant interest in the guitar over the past year. Hit me up anytime with any questions or comments!”

Ever heard the saying “Behind every sports writer is a frustrated athlete?” Well that sentiment unquestionably rings true with this proud Ismaili Muslim originally of Nanaimo, British Columbia.

Farhan Devji played organized ice hockey with both the Nanaimo Minor Hockey Association and the Port Moody Amateur Hockey Association up until grade twelve, and also played basketball up until the tenth grade, before he realized that he would be better suited to write about sports rather than play them.

Farhan’s two biggest passions are sports and writing, which works out perfectly as he likes to combine the two together. He is an avid Vancouver Canucks supporter and has an incurable infatuation with the game of hockey.

Farhan enjoys writing Young Adult novels which focus primarily, but not exclusively, on sports. He would one day like to become a recognized and respected author and/or journalist in his community.
