Our Pets: those who live with us (not for adoption)

"Flint" Miniature Australian Shepherd
Sixteen years ago, after much research, I decided to get an Australian Shepherd.  "Keyta" was a great dog, and a few years later we adopted "Cali," a rescue dog from working lines in California.  My good friend Sally of Hi Tide Kennels had Miniature Australian Shepherds, and I was enchanted!  Soon afterwards came Flint, also from the United States.  Keyta and Cali have since "gone to the Rainbow Bridge."

Flint is a six year-old registered Miniature Australian Shepherd.  He is blue merle with copper and white and two blue eyes.  He has excellent conformation, is properly proportioned and is 17 1/2" tall.  Flint is spunky and playful, yet reserved and independent: traits I was looking for!  He loves kids and will play for ages with other dogs.

Sadly earlier this year we had to euthanise our elderly German Shepherd, "Brunni."
We are working on a memorial page to honour our past pets.

At this time we have no foster pets, but you can see some of Faunadael Pet Rescue's former foster dogs and cats on our "Happy Tails" Petfinder page.
