For about three years I kept tripping over my jack stands I knew one day I would kill myself on one of them.  I built this simple rack and now they hang on the wall

     This is one end of the shop and beam.  This shows the skylights and chain falls.  This has turned out to be the handiest tool that I have in my shop. 

The other end shows the top of the sliding doors a clock made from an AD hubcap and the other end of the over head beam.
