Visiting the Sunshine Coast - May/07 Everyone deserves a good break, so we had
one over the Victoria Day long weekend. It was never too late to
catch the ferry in Saturday afternoon at Horseshoe Bay to Langdale.
All packed, laptop, PSPs, snacks, all set and ready to go! We docked
at Langdale just after 4pm and it was another 30 minutes drive to a very
lovely, beautiful bed and breakfast (At
the Shore B&B) in Sechelt, facing the Sechelt Inlet hosted by a
wonderful couple, Norma and Peter Bond. We really didn't do much
other than eat and sleep. Oh, we managed to drive around the town,
walked along the seashore, watched the tides hit the rocky beach and enjoy
the gorgeous view of the Strait of Georgia. Monday arrived and it was time to go home. On the way to the ferry, we stopped by in Gibsons to have some good clam chowder soups at "Molly's Restaurant" and walked around the town. Arts and crafts surrounds the city, artists would really enjoy their stay here. Oh oh, time to go, we didn't want to miss the ferry so left in a hurry. In no time, we're back again in the city, getting for the busy work week ahead. We will definitely go back there, for more "eat" and "sleep" kind of thing. Oh and I almost forgot, the oysters..... hmmm.. so good. Enjoy the photos, click here.
