Director: Dr. Evelyn Jain – Family Physician
Dr. Jain is a certified lactation consultant with 20 years of experience in breastfeeding counselling. She is on Staff at the University of Calgary Faculty of Medicine and at the Rockyview Hospital. She also regularly provides seminars for health professionals and the public on breastfeeding and women’s health.
Dr. Jain has published research and other articles on breastfeeding in medical literature and the lay press. She is a recognised speaker across Canada and internationally on lactation. Teaching materials, including a highly acclaimed video on tongue-tie, have been developed at the Clinic.
The 1998 Award of Excellence in Family Practice was awarded to Dr. Jain for her work in breastfeeding. She also received recognition in family medicine obstetrics at the Rockyview hospital for 2007.

Consultations are covered by Alberta Health. *Fees may apply to extra services.
A REFERRAL IS REQUIRED from your physician.
Breastfeeding consultations to mothers and babies (fathers, parents and other supporters always welcome). Prenatal visits for assessment and preparation. Charge for no shows and late cancellations
Education:
We offer professional education both in the clinic and outside for all health professionals.
High Quality, Safe & Efficient Aids:
Medela breast pumps and other breastfeeding aids are available for purchase with qualified assistance in appropriate use.
*A physician specialist in lactation will provide a comprehensive assessment.
You will be seen the same or next day for emergencies, whenever possible. |
