dokueki

dokueki... were you of the kuei jin you might know him as mandarin of the boneflower and koga magistrate. were you to ask the koga you may learn that he is as much respected among them as he is feared for reasons they will answer with no more than a grim stare... were you to speak his name to the shadow songs they might praise his training and refer to him, perhaps, as a true example in testament to the cold mind. in truth though even his brothers of uji and dharma know little of his true nature, purpose or role among the kuei jin.... he exists as little more than a shadow flickering in the moonlight.

DISCIPLINES: dokueki has never been seen blatantly using any discipline, at lest not one with too obvious of tell tale signs that would stand out to our informants. perhaps some mastery of the jade shintai would explain the grace at which he moves.. as a boneflower it can be assumed that he practices the yin prana, and some subjects believe also that he has some mastery of the internalize soul art due to their inability to compromise his mind.

HISTORY: it is unknown when or how dokueki lost or lived his mortal life. it is known that some dame sama of the bishimon have spoken of him when he was still among their ranks so he must have been around for quite a while. other than performing his duties of the northern direction his activities since his 2nd breath are as well shrouded in mystery. the mandarins and ancestors that actually know of him are always tight lipped and speak of him with a great respect and a little fear. given the koga love for assassins.... it is known that he is in a nameless wu which i am told has something to do with the nature of the chosen nushi. its members include only dokueki and the notorious devil tiger Zakku. it wasn't always a wu of 2 though, some catastrophe befell it in its past and it seems the nushi is quite choosy when it comes to new members though many of the elder jina have requested addition.

HOLDINGS: it is rumored that he guides the dead lotus, a death cult. it is whispered among the members of that cult that they will be founding a chapter in the states soon..

DESCRIPTION: obviously yin imbalanced. seems to be in his mid twenties and true to his dharma and direction he is always clad solely in black.

PERSONALITY PROFILE: cold. quite simple. of the coldest dharma and the coldest direction... just think of your boneflower stereotype and you have dokueki.

ALLIANCES: other than his wu mate, the terrible Zakku, it is known that he traffics with the restless. there is some speculation that he has some invested interest in the rebellion against the yellow springs, but as to what it is we have yet to discern.
