Pairs shall be grouped in units of four or five depending on the number of teams. Grouping will be decided by the organizing committee.
The first winning bidder buys a "wild card" and has the right to pick any pair from any group.
The remaining pairs of teams in the same group will then be auctioned off in a wild card format. The winning bid gets to take any of the remaining teams in that group, until all the pairs have been auctioned off.
The next winning bid gets to pick any pair from the remaining groups. The remaining teams in this group will then go in the same way as the first group.
The rest of the groups will be auctioned off in the same fashion until all groups are gone. The split will be as follows
The interesting part of this special event is that we have a sponsor who is going to put up some money to go to the bidder who buys the winning team in the consolation round. This will make some of the more social teams a good buy.
