| History | 1964-10-05: Keel laid. 1965-02-06: Launched. 1965-06-18: Arrived at Dieppe. 1965-06-21: Delivered to SNCF in Dieppe, France. 1965-07-13: Entered service on the Dieppe-Newhaven route. 1969: SNCF joined the Sealink partnership, and the ship was painted for Sealink. 1974: In fall, laid up; used occasionally as a reserve vessel for the Calais-Dover and Boulogne-Folkestone routes. 1975-11-26 to 1976-01-19: Served on the Calais-Folkestone route. 1977: Rebuilt. Bow door installed, and overhead clearance increased on parts of the car deck. 1978-02: Returned to service. 1984-09: Laid up in Calais. 1985: Sold to Strintzis Lines S. A., Piraeus, Greece and renamed Eptanisos. 1985: Entered service on the Rafina-Andros-Tinos-Mykonos route. 2000-05: Sold to Ventouris Ferries, Piraeus, Greece (Northern Med. Shipping Corp.) and renamed Pollux. Entered service between Bari and Durres. 2003-05: Reflagged to Panama and renamed Pollux I. 2003-11: Sold to an Indian breaker and renamed Nisma. |
