to be named Olympic Explorer. 2001-04: Completed by Blohm + Voss, Royal Olympia (then Royal Olympic) refused delivery. 2001-05-22: Renamed Olympia Explorer. 2002-04: Delivered to Royal Olympia Cruises. 2004-06-28: Sold to Stella Maritime, Bahamas, for the Semester-at-Sea program and renamed Explorer. 2005-01-27: Hit by a massive wave, sustaining damage to the bridge and propulsion control systems. Proceeded to Honolulu for repair. |
