1958: Ordered.

1959-01: Keel laid.

1960-05-10: Launched.

1961-03-07: Trials.

1961-03-29: Delivered to Canadian Pacific Steamships, Liverpool, England.

1961-04-24: Departed on her maiden voyage from Liverpool to Montreal via Greenock and Quebec. In the winter, used for cruising.

1971-11-23: Arrived at Liverpool at the end of her 121st and last Atlantic crossing, brining to an end Canadian Pacific's 68 year old North Atlantic service.

1972-01: Sold to Carnival Cruise Lines, Panama. Renamed Mardi Gras and rebuilt for cruising.

1972-02-26: Departed Tilbury for Miami.

1972-03-11: Entered service for Carnival with a Caribbean cruise out of Miami.

1972: Ran aground on her maiden voyage. She was not damage and the cruise continued.

1973 to 1974: Remodelled while in service for Carnival's "Fun Ship" concept. She could only carry about 60% of her normal capacity when work was being done.

1993-09: Sold to Epirotiki Lines, Piraeus, Greece.

1994: Chartered to Gold Star Cruises, Galveston, Texas, for gambling cruises in the Gulf of Mexico and renamed Star Of Texas.

1994: Moved to Miami after Gold Star Cruises folded.

1995-05-10: Laid up in Eleusis Bay, Greece.

1995: Renamed Apollon [exact date unknown, but occurred during the lay-up period].

1995-12: Owner becomes Royal Olympic Cruises, Piraeus, Greece after a merger with Sun Lines.

1997: Moved to Piraeus for refurbishing.

1999: Chartered to Direct Holiday for cruises out of the UK.

1999 or 2000: Laid up again in Eleusis Bay.

2001: In service for Royal Olympic Cruises.

2003-09: Sold to Crown Steel Company (ship breakers) in Alang, India; renamed Apollo for her final voyage.

2003-11-12: Departed Eleusis Bay for Alang.

2003-12-04: Arrived at Alang.

2003-12-09: Beached at Alang.
