1971-02-02: Launched. 1971-10-19: Delivered to Cunard. 1971-11-19: Sailed from Southampton to San Juan to be put into Caribbean cuise service. 1976-02-14: In collision with Carla C in San Juan.. 1977: Sold to Norwegian Cruise Line (Kloster Rederi, Oslo); renamed Sunward II. 1977-03-08 to 1977-04-24: Rebuilt at Lloyd Werft, Bremerhaven. Funnels and mast totally rebuilt. 1983: Port of registry moved to Nassau, Bahamas. 1991: Sold to Epirotiki Lines, Piraeus, Greece, renamed Triton. 1995-12-01: Merged into Royal Olympic Cruises, Pireus, Greece. 1996-06-04: Suffered engine room fire while in port at Kamiros. 1996-06: Repaired at Piraeus and returned to service. |
