1956-08-05: Launched. 1957-09-23: Maiden voyage, from Trieste to Alexandria and Beiruit. 1957: In service as a passenger liner for Adriatica di Navigazione, on Mediterranean routes. 1978 to 1979: Sold to Italia Crociere Internazionali and converted for use as a cruise ship by Arsenale Triestino SpA in San Marco, Italy. 1979: Rebuilt to increase passenger capacity; her aft superstructure was enlarged significantly in this conversion. 1983: Sold to Grimaldi-SIOSA (Ausonia Crociere). 1984: Refit increased passenger capacity a second time. 1996: Sold to Louis Cruise Lines, registered in Cyprus. 2006-05: Renamed Ivory. 2007-04: Renamed Aegean Two and registered in Piraeus. |
