History
1988-10-22: Launched.
1989-04-18: Deliverd to Rederi Ab Slite/Rederi Ab Volo, Slite.
1989-04-24: Entered service for Viking Lines on the Stockholm - Mariehamn cruise route. The starboard cardeck was used to house a discotheque and other entertainment facilities.
1989-05-15: At about 04:42 a fire broke out in a cabin on deck 9. The fire was confined to the one cabin, and the ship continued in service while the damage was repaired.
1993: Spring trial run between Stockholm and Riga.
1993-04-25: A minor fire occurred on board.
1993-08-16: Arrived in Stockholm on her last trip, and laid up.
1993-09-23: Sold at auction for US$85 million to North Lake Ltd, Malaysia (Star Cruises) after the bankruptcy of Rederi A/B Slite.
1993-09: Left Stockholm for Åbo to be prepared for the trip to Singapore.
1993-09: Re-registered in Panama.
1993-09-24: Renamed Star Aquarius.
1993-10: Arrived at Sembavang yard, Singapore for rebuild. Included in the rebuild was the addition of a swimming pool aft, and a casino on the car deck.
1993-12: Renamed Langkapuri Star Aquarius.
1994: Entered cruise service for Star Cruises, with a home port of Singapore.
1998: Home port moved to Hong Kong.
2001-01-11: Sold to DFDS A/S, København.
2001-02-26: Official handover to new owners in Lame Chabang, Thailand. Sailed to Port Kelang, Malaysia for removal of casino fittings.
2001-03: Departed Port Kelang for Ålborg, Denmark.
2001-03-30: Arrived in Ålborg, for refit.
2001-04-09: Renamed Aquarius.
2001-04-16: Sailed from Ålborg 14:00 enroute to Blohm & Voss in Hamburg.
2001-04-17: Arrived Hamburg around 22:00.
2001-05-19: Left shipyard to return to Ålborg.
2001-05-21: Arrived Ålborg for completion of refit.
2001-06-05: Renamed Pearl Of Scandinavia.
2001-06-24: Departed Ålborg for København.
2001-06-26: Entered service on the København - Helsingborg - Oslo route.
2001-12-27: The vessel suffered a blackout for about an hour in Oslofjorden.
2002-01-04: Laid up in Frihavn, København for repair.
