Sharp Teeth
Dec 2009
INVESTIGATORS: Matt Spearin, Laura Craig, Cathy Knudsen, Morgan Knudsen, Doug Bewick
NOTES: In some cases, it is the conscious mind that manifests monsters. This was one of those cases but when a person has the sincere want to change their thoughts
and move from fear to frustration to peace to joy, "miracles" happen - sometimes with a little guidance.
EVENTS REPORTED:
We first received an email from "Jody" at the end of December 2009.
Her history began when she was about 10 months old and a recollection of herself lying in her crib looking up at the ceiling. She stated she remembered clearly a black figure looming over her, which struck her across the face. She then started crying which summoned her parents.
At 3 years old during the night, Jody would hear scratching in the walls beside her bed, and a "growling" that "sounded nothing like a human nor animal could make".
Jody's words continue the story: "I would be terrorized by nightmares and I would wake up with scratches and bruises on my body. My little Brother was born when I was 4, and he shared the room with me, he would start crying when the noises started up. The scratching and growling kept going every night until I was 7 years old, and we moved out of the house. My cats wouldn't even go into our basement, they would hiss and growl whenever they went to the top of the landing. I used to play the old organ that we had down there, and I recall water dripping down the walls, and there was really no known reason for that to be happening.
Whatever that thing was, has been following me from house to house. I saw it when I was about 16 years old. I was lying in bed meditating, and this thing crawled on top of me and was looking at me. It was sort of translucent, and I remember it had several eyes, really sharp teeth, and 8 arms. It was very arachnid/dragon looking so to speak. I cast a protection spell (I'm Pagan) and kicked at the thing, and sent it flying across my room into the wall. It stopped bugging me for several years until recently.
I just turned 31, and it started up again last year. When I am sleeping, my Husband has noted that I start babbling in a language that he doesn't understand. I've seen a "man" walking by me beside my computer desk and then dissipates into my wall. My friends and I started taking pictures in the bedroom, and we picked up some crazy "orb" like activity. I have had my sheets torn off of me when I am sleeping, my hair has been pulled, and I get random hits by what feels like an elbow jab or something in my back. Whatever it is, it's attacking me, and it doesn't matter where I live. I moved twice in the past year, and yet it remains with me. "
Immediately, our investigator Laura Craig (who spent a number of years studying and practicing Wicca) recognized some key elements to this unique and incredible story, giving some key insight: That "Jody" was attempting to 'fix' the situation with a fear-based intention and that, in her experience and also ours, intention is everything. It became apparent to us after our first meeting with Jody and the ones that followed that the emotion and therefore her overall vibration that she was living with was fear, and therefore every action she took was coming from a very powerless place.
Throughout these interviews, we also narrowed down where her perception of this being was coming from: Jody was an arachnophobic and in an emotional rut due to an unhealthy relationship.
It was time for "Teaching The Living". It is a consistency with this type of manifestation that in order to have access to these frightening experiences in your life, you have to be, somewhere, resonating on the same vibrational/emotional level.
Matt began to coach Jody on the process of journaling the events, a key process to give someone in her position distance and objectivity from what was happening to them. It allows someone to see their own thoughts on paper and decide whether they are empowering thoughts or damaging ones. Also, it gives the opportunity to take the written events and throw them away or rid yourself of them symbolically.
It was key that she find better-feeling thoughts on a day-to-day basis in order to bring herself to a more positive place. We explained that she must find contentment or peace first, before change would be reflected in the long term from outer events.
Immediately, Jody jumped on board and began to make the changes. Within a week, her nightly encounters dwindled until they quit entirely. Recently, we received this uplifting message from her when we asked her permission to post it here:
You may use my case as a teaching
example. I do thank you again for helping me with
my issue, and I haven't been bothered since. :) I
relocated to Calgary and left my Husband, and rarely
have access to the Internet, hence my late reply.
In any event, all is well, and you may use my case
for however you need. Take care, "Jody"
