TEACHING THE LIVING
This program is
perhaps the most important part of what we teach families, individuals and businesses because it allows them to feel empowered and helps
to prevent further unwanted supernatural activity in the future.
Now we’re not talking about starting yoga and becoming an overnight Buddhist, we’re talking
about the balance, presence and energy you emit when you walk through your front door. We all know that spirits
are essentially beings of energy, but we forget that if you look past our flesh, our skin, and our cells, our
bodies consist of energy before we ever kick the bucket. With this being the case, the energy that we emanate
in our daily lives (call it ‘vibes’ or whichever) plays a huge role in how other people see you, living or dead.
For example, if you were in a busy city about to mug someone, whom would you pick? The person walking meek and
mild with their head down looking dejected and lost, or the person walking with assertiveness and their head
held high? Entities of any kind don’t care that you pay the mortgage, chase the kids to school, buy the food,
or run your feet off, they respond your energy to decide the role you have defined for yourself in the home.
The families that we council often run into the same problems:
1. They have no household leader. Whether you live alone or with a big family, having a
family leader is really important. It can be one parent, two parents, or even the single woman living alone
- it doesn’t matter. Just as long as there is someone in the home that is prepared to guide and lead the
family with assertiveness, passion, direction and confidence. Without creating this energy, it’s easy for
a spirit to move in and start filling that role of leader because they have the power of the unknown to
cause anxiety, whether it’s on purpose or whether it’s not. If they think they can assert their will without
repercussions, they won’t think twice about flinging that dish or slamming that door.
2. They are making decisions out of fear of the spirit or entity. Find yourself not going
home right away because you know at 7PM the spirit in your place is going to start causing a ton of trouble?
This isn’t good – the entity is running your agenda. When did it become their house? Often times, this is
seen with parents and children when young kids won’t go to bed so the parents stay up until the kid decides
to fall asleep. You’re letting the tail wag the dog; this should be a sign you need to take your power back.
3. The client has moved all over hell’s half acre to get away from the activity. Moving
is rarely the answer, especially if you or someone in the family is intuitive or is attracting the activity
unknowingly. On your own or with our help, it’s important that the problem is diagnosed and dissected quickly
before it is dragged to another location or persists and get worse. Figure out what’s causing the problem
before you cost yourself a whole lot of money and trauma by checking out and moving to a new home.
4. The family is fueling the entity’s behavior. Some people react out of fright, others
out of fascination and excitement – either way, if you give a reaction (with animals, children, or the dead)
they will gauge that reaction and decide if they should persist with that behavior. Usually, any reaction
(even anger on your part) is considered a good one and the behavior will persist or escalate.
5. Belief that having the home blessed by a religious ceremony will fix all the problems.
Sometimes, this is the case, but if the situation that brought the entity in to begin with isn’t solved,
then you only have to wait awhile before the activity returns. This could be tomorrow or years down the road.
6. Clients get help, but don’t listen to the advice given. This is real frustration for
investigators. People in real trouble contact groups like EntitySeeker but when the advice isn’t what they
want to hear, they don’t follow it and the home becomes even more unbalanced, creating a bigger problem for
the investigator and the home owners. It sounds crazy, but this happens more than you might think. If you contact
a good investigative team, they’ll have a plan to get you out of trouble: Don’t sabotage yourself!
Now this isn’t to say that if you are doing all these things already that you absolutely
without question won’t end up experiencing a haunting in your lifetime; that just isn’t true. But, your
experience with spirits may prove to be different than someone who is feeling lost, without direction,
and is emotionally unbalanced. This can be for many reasons like the death of a loved one, depression,
moving to an unfamiliar place, or even if you’ve just lost yourself in a chaotic life. Whatever your reason
is, achieving balance is key.
WHAT CONSTITUTES A BALANCED HOME?
A balanced home is peaceful, happy, and serves as a soft place to fall for all who live
there. A balanced place is somewhere where the people in it feel welcome and not judged. This is a rare
occurrence in today’s world, as dysfunction tends to run amok and encompass families and relationships.
Achieving this balance may require couples counseling and seeking help outside of the paranormal kind
because when there is a unified front of confident, passionate people in the house, worlds change.
LIVING WITH PASSION
What is your passion? Living with passion and determination can make such a difference
in your life and is key to happiness whether you’re thinking about the paranormal or not. In reference to
the supernatural, people that are living with balance tend to have less hostile spirit experiences. This
isn’t a rock solid, 100% guaranteed rule, but it does prove true much of the time.
Living with passion can mean anything to anyone! It can mean indulging in your hobby,
getting involved with your religion, throwing a fun get-together with friends, and just waking up with the
thought in mind: How can I make this day amazing? People living with positivism and being leaders in their
own life often have a very different experience when or if an entity moves in as their energy speaks for
itself: I am calm, assertive, confident and am not likely to put up with a lot of shenanigans.
The bottom line is carrying yourself with assertiveness and a calm demeanor, living
without fear (although it can be amazingly difficult), and paying little to no attention to a poltergeist’s
antics can turn a bad situation from worse to manageable, and is a significant part of solving the problem.
