canoesongs Eileen's song "Canoe Song At Twilight" is featured on the fabulous compilation CD Canoesongs.  A wonderful compendium of songs about our (other) national obsession, it's a collection no canoeist will want to be without.

celtic women book
A great book has hit the bookstore shelves, entitled "Celtic Women In Music". It has interviews and profiles of two dozen of the best artists making Celtic music in the world today, and yes, among them is our own Eileen McGann!  It was written by Maireid Sullivan, and you can read about it on her web site, or find it in your local bookstore.

The huge Folk volume of the Music Hound "Essential Album Guide" is out, and Eileen has a simply spectacular review in it! There are 1,200 profiles of folk performers and their recordings, with ratings out of five for each album. All of Eileen's recordings received either 4, 4.5 or 5 star-ratings! You can read more about this book at http://www.fsbassociates.com/books2/folk.htm or read the review on our Reviews page.

Mrs Ackroyd's Conscripts: NEW CD!

This is a CD of Les' serious songs, and follows the previous outrageous CD "Tubular Dogs", also with contributions from Eileen McGann and David K.  They will be joining up with the Ackroyds later this spring during their spring whirlwind tour of Great Britain (see Tour Schedule).  For more on Les,. his poems, CDs and performances, see his web page.
