Eliskas Notes
a gothic bohemia primer
My research on late 14th century Bohemian life and culture uses only English-language sources as I cannot read Czech, German, or Latin. I have limited French reading abilities and am willing to tackle French sources if they are recommended.
These pages are a small offering to the collective knowledge, constantly updated and transformed as new information comes my way. The information contained herein should be considered as the transmission of ideas and theses of the scholars whom I reference in my bibliographies, not as my own original theses.
