The following fiction piece constitutes the first three chapters of my novel-in-progress, currently untitled. “Nikka & Raya” refers to the names of the two main characters.
For those of you who have read the Kaera short stories at Enchanted Visions, the Takara in this story is in fact the same world, but much later on—several thousand years later, in fact—when certain elements found in Kaera's world have had time to evolve, and others, de-volve.
