Here are images of many of the miniatures I have finished for both Nemesis
and Hybrid. I have also included a small battle report but this is just the first
and I plan to continue with more in the future so check back once in a while.

Hybrid/Nemesis Battle report Played by Robert/ Scorpions and Mike/Griffins

The Predator's Shadow from the Nemesis expansion, scenario one of the first campaign.

Objectives : Griffins, evacuate 2 fighters of any rank
Scorpions, eliminate all enemy fighters of rank 2 or Higher.

Warriors used: Griffins –  Knight of the Lodge of Hod – Rank 2
                                       Giffin Minelayer – Rank 2
                                       Purifier – Rank 1
                                       2 x Templar of Hod – Rank 1
                                       Aura cards, Power and Luck

Scorpions – Nemesis Clone – Rank 3 (mandatory for this scenario)
                                       Neuromancer – Rank 1
                                       Skorize Warrior – Rank 1
                                       Hybrid – Rank 1
                                       Mutation cards, Epidermal Blades, Poisoned
                                       Dart
Both of us kept our 4 action cards which were all used but 90% of the time unsuccessfully.

For the first couple of turns it was all about getting into position and I got the first Event counter picked up by the Skorize warrior. It was the Explosive Traps which ended up destroying all the rest of the Events on the board. Luckily this was drawn early in the game and no warriors were hurt by the explosions. The Nemesis Clone started Invisible and I tried to strategically move the 3 counters around the board to trick my opponent. The Minelayer ended up revealing the Clone, fortunately I had not activated it yet that turn so it moved back to the next room to block off the Griffins and not get surrounded by them.

We finally started to do some offensive actions around turn 3 and the Neuromancers Psychic abilities really helped to prevent damage to the Nemesis Clone. My Skorize warrior stood in a corridor in the main room where the exit was for the Griffins escape. He turned his back to them because of his Dorsal protection and stayed in Defensive mode. I also gave him the Poisoned Dart which caused a wound on a Templar. The Griffins never put a wound on the Keratis warrior all game and he definitely helped in slowing down their progress.

The Nemesis Clone blocked the door to the exit so the Griffins couldn't escape. It was continuously shot at by both the Minelayer and Purifier but again the Neuromancer’s Preservation prevented any wounds. I also used the Rage Psychic power on the Clone which provided in an extra wound on the Knight once the Clone attacked him.

The first Griffin to die was the Knight who tried desperately to hurt the Nemesis Clone but was unable to do so (bad dice rolls). Followed by the Purifier, who died at the hands of the Hybrid mutated with the Epidermal Blades. Then one of the Templars and finally, after having only lost the Neuromancer myself, the Minelayer succumbed to his wounds but he didn't go down easy. He also laid several mines which hindered the Scorpions movements but never wounded any of them. The mines are tricky to use and place so in future games my opponent will need to rethink these actions.

It was close though, the Minelayer did end up opening the locked door and the Nemesis clone was taken down to 2 wounds. But victory went to Dirz this time and for the next game I receive an extra card to use and add another rank 1 warrior to my group. My opponent however gets to have one less warrior to take in the next mission, not less ranks
though.

Conclusions for me is that the Neuromancers Psychic powers are very effective, of course he becomes a real target for the Griffins. The Skorize warrior if used in the right location is really hard to wound and the Nemesis Clone's Invisible ability can really help the Scorpion player to trick the Griffins.

All in all it was a close game and one of the best I have played so
far, I really look forward to the next one.

Image taken about midway through the game.

In this image you can see the Nemesis Clone Blocking the door while the Skorize warrior blocks the single corridor. The Hybrid is standing
in front of the door to Event counter 1 which unlocks the door seen on the far right through which the Griffins must escape.

The Nemesis Clone is getting attacked by 2 Executioners one from behind using his Felon aptitude and the
other head on with the help of 3 Templars of Hod.
