Dr. Christine
Simpson and her husband, Brian, brought the
CHIP program to
Edmonton in the Fall of 2001, the first of its kind in Alberta.
The CHIP program
had already been running successful in the neighboring province of
British Columbia, as well as in multiple locations across the United States of America,
for quite a number of years. With it's kick-off here in Edmonton, a wave of participants
have now gone through the program and are part of the ongoing alumni association.
As an Internal Medicine specialist, Christine
has always had a passion in her medical career to do something that would enable people
to take charge of their own health in such a way as to reverse their ongoing medical
problems or to prevent their development in the first place. She has engaged in
extensive self-training, as well as through the Lifestyle Center of America in Oklahoma
to enable her to see this vision through to its current outfolding.
Currently, we now have three programs in the
Edmonton area (2 on-going, another being developed), and fourteen in the province, only
four years later.
Christine encourages YOU to "choose to be
healthy by choice, not by chance!"
