Timberland is a company that is well-known for producing good quality outdoor gears, and footwear, especially the waterproof leather boots. In fact, the name Timberland Company came from the boots, which were also called Timberland. The company was first opened in 1918 in Boston, Massachusetts. The founder, Nathan Swartz made the boots by hand. In the 1980s, the first entry into the international market was in Italy. Timberland now has more than 200 stores all over the world, including Asia, Canada, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and US.
