The Grenade Recognition Manual

Vol. 2

British and Commonwealth Grenades and Accessories

Its here, after three and a half years I finally finished Vol. 2.   This is the best reference book on British grenades there is!

This volume deals with the service grenades of Britain from the first of the Numbered series to the last, also the newer "L" series.  I then go on to grenades developed or used by Australia, and finally Canada.  There are sections dealing with grenade launchers, launching cartridges, fillings, and finally markings.  A listing in the back of the book gives all the manufacturers and markings that have been identified to date.

This manual will be an excellent reference for collectors, historians, EOD personnel, Police, or Military personnel.

The book has 188 pages filled with information, some that cannot be found anywhere else.  Over 200 photos and drawings.  The book is perfect bound  and of a size to match with my first volume on American grenades (also still available if you don't already have a copy).

Once again the postal charges have increased and I must raise the shipping charges.  Unfortunately I have no control over that, I held them as long as possible but can't continue any longer.

Price of the book is $40.00 plus $14.00 shipping in US funds.  Overseas shipping (airmail) is $32.00 in US funds (sorry about the shipping charges).

Ready for immediate shipping!

The books arrived today very nice keep up the good work. Very very good.  Thank you.  Larry

Thank you for the copy of your new book and congratulations on an outstanding achievement. It makes previous books on the subject insignificant.  Rick Landers

The book has arrived, GOD !!! Its absolutely brilliant!  This is the book that all grenade collectors have been waiting for, the details are fantastic, and it covers everything, this will be my new "bible" and keep me busy reading for the next week or so.  Ray Ford.

I have been reading your new book in the past week.  Not yet finished but I can say now it will be quite hard for anyone else to come up a British grenade book with better information.  In other words, you leave very little room of improvement for other authors in this subject.  Congratulations on a great job.  Looking forward to reading more of your works in the near future.  Martin Hung

I got it two days ago. Guess what I did that night and into the morning...Great job, as usual. I thank you and the EOD community thanks you.  Tim Cooper

Well I have finally finished reading your books and I must say that they are both excellent and very informative. I was pleased that there were so many Pics and cut away diagrams to go with the text. I have certainly learnt a lot of new Info on grenades I didn't even know existed. Over all I preferred the British manual and I must rate it as 10 out of 10.  The only thing I would have liked to see was some coloured pics but as I am a Printer by trade I know how much more expensive this would have been and we would still have been waiting for it to be finished.  So well done for a first class book and I hope you will be encouraged to start Vol. 3 and 4 and 5 etc....   Paul Spence

Just got your new book yesterday.  Thanks loads, you've outdone yourself!  Very good layout and format.  What's your next book going to be on?  Rex Gallogly

The Postal folks did their best to bend and crush it, but it survived in great shape. Neat stuff! Good job! Looking forward to reading this in depth.  Ed Strazdes
