DIANE CARNEGIE - Vice President

Diane saw her first Schutzhund trial in 1976, but at the time she was more interested in competing in CKC obedience with her Doberman Pinscher, taking many high scores. From there she went on to make movies with her Dobies.

By time the Schutzhund bug caught her interest , her Doberman was already 8 years old, but she was a good dog to learn with.

In 1990 Diane acquired her first German Shepherd Urza von Norbreeze from Frank Mensing, taking her from a B to a SchH3.

Currently Diane is training Abby vom Allemanperro BH. Unfortunately Abby had the misfortune to develop cancer at a young age and has recently spent more time in surgery than on the training field.......even with a few setbacks Diane has attained her Bronze Sports Medal.

Diane devotes her time to the German Shepherd Dog in the following capacities:

• Editor of Shepherd Sports since 1990

• Sports Medal Coordinator  - GSSCC

• Past President and Current Director - GSDCC

• Past Secretary and Director of the GSSCC

• Past Secretary of the Prairie Region
