Box Bug

Pokémon training just got a whole lot easier!!!!
Thanks to yet another bug in Pokémon, maxing out your Pokémon's stats just got a whole lot easier!
At level 100 no matter how many monsters you fight, no matter how much stat EXP you acquire, your stats can't change anymore, right?
WRONG! A bug in Pokémon will save us! This bug is most likely due to memory constraints. To save space/time, when you deposit a Pokémon into a box only its type, name, moves, PP/HP remaining, level, stat exp. and starting bonus points are saved to the game's memory save file. The actual stats (max hp, attack, defense, speed, special) aren't saved!!!
Which means that every time you put a Pokémon into a box and take it out, its stats will be RECALCULATED with the Pokémon's current amount of stat exp.! WBox Trick: If you're having trouble getting maximum stats, try this. Get into a large sucession of fights without getting a level up (best done at L100). After the fights are done, go to a Pokemon Center. Deposit the Pokémon, then withdraw it. The Pokémon's stats should have gone up a few points. Repeat until they are at maximum stats.

Story Red/Blue

You are an 11-year old boy living in Pallet Town with your mother. Your rival lives next door to you. You and your rival used to play nicely together when you were little, but lately, he has become mean. He sees you as his rival because you are the same age and height. When you hear that Professor Oak is a Pokémon expert, you get excited because you are a curious boy. You walk outside of Pallet Town in search of Pokémon and you hear a voice.

"Hey! Don't go into the grass!" It's Professor Oak. "There are wild Pokémon living in there." he says. "They can be very dangerous. If you posses trained Pokémon, you can let them fight against wild ones."

Professor Oak takes you back to his lab where your rival is waiting. Professor Oak invited him because he is Professor Oak's grandson. Professor Oak instructs you: "There are 3 Pokémon here, so choose the one you like! Now that you have a Pokémon, the rest is up to you."

Growing up in Pallet Town, you spent a lot of time playing with your next door neighbor. But lately he has become a bully and no longer wants to play with you. He even thinks of you as his rival.

After the two of you stopped playing together, you became very interested in Pokémon. One day you decide to go in search of Pokémon, but just as you are leaving Pallet Town, you hear a voice...

"Hey! Don't go into the grass!" It's Professor Oak, the famous Pokémon expert! "There are wild Pokémon living in there,"he says.

"They can be very dangerous. However, if you possess trained Pokémon, you can let them fight the wild ones. Come to my laboratory, and I'll tell you more."

When you get to the lab, you find your former friend there too, you're amazed to find that he is Professor Oak's grandson! "I have prepared a Pokémon for you,"says the Professor, "Now that you have a Pokémon, the rest is up to you...

Surfing Pikachu

To teach your Pikachu Surf, unlock Round 2 in Pokémon Stadium. Then, get up to the Masterball setting on either the Poke Cup or Prime Cup (in Round 2). Complete the Masterball setting using Pikachu as one of your active Pokemon each round (he must be one of the three you choose to battle with). The Pikachu may not be part of a registered team or a Rental. If you succeed, the game congratulate you and ask if you would like to replace one of Pikachu's moves with surf. Select "Yes", and select the move to be forgotten. Now go to Fuchsia City and on the shore there is a house and a guy named Dude will ask you if you want to surf. You get points for doing stunts off waves. High scores are saved.
  • Single Spin -->50 Points
  • Double Spin -->150 Points
  • Left-Right Spin -->180 Points
