I was born in Warrington, Lancashire, England on 7th September 1949 and have a brother and two sisters and many nephews and nieces.

I served with the Royal Army Medical Corps from 1965 to 1970 which included almost three years in Hong Kong from 67 to 70.

Then I had two years with P & O Shipping sailing around the world from 1970 to 1972, when I moved to Canada I became a proud citizen in 1977 and worked with local transit for 23 years from 1981 to 2004 when I took early retirement at 55.
