Zombie Island Massacre
(John N. Carter; 1984)
(Media Home Entertainment Inc.)
-Overview-
Setting off on a day trip to witness ancient island ceremonies. A busload of innocent tourists suddenly find themselves caught up in a nightmare world of unspeakable voodoo rites and brutal drug smuggling treachery.
What a rip, not a zombie to be found. Zombie Island Massacre would have a lot of potential save for the misleading title and the lack of gore and brutal violence that fans of the genre expect. A decent amount of T&A to be had courtesy of Playboy Playmate Rita Jenrette, but not nearly sleazy enough to save the film. For completists only.
