Zombie Holocaust (Dr. Butcher, M.D.)
(Marino Girolami; 1979)
(Shriek Show)
-Overview-
A group of investigators end up on a sacred island inhabited by a tribe of cannibals who partake in human sacrifice, while an American research scientist studies their behavior. Could the good doctor be hiding something? At last one of the finest cannibal films gets the DVD treatment! This one is a must have for gore/horror fans alike. It has cannibals, zombies, naked hotties, a crazed surgeon, what more could you ask for? This is truly more of a cannibal film than a zombie film, however, so zombie fans take note. Buckets of gore abound, though, so said fans shouldn’t be too disappointed. Shriek Show has done an excellent job in presenting this cult classic sickie uncut and uncensored for the first time in North America. Classic stuff!
