Brotherhood of Satan

(Bernard McEveety; 1970)

(Columbia Tristar)

-Overview-

A Satanic coven terrorizes a small town in the middle of nowhere. A family from out of town are stranded and have to deal with the town’s odd inhabitants. The film starts out rather slowly, but once it gets going, it’s actually quite entertaining. Not much gore to speak of, and sadly devoid of T&A (it got a PG rating) the coven is worth the viewing alone. I was pleasantly surprised with this one.

-Sound-

The sound quality is standard. No enhancements.

-Picture-

The transfer to DVD is flawless, the colors are vibrant and the blacks are dark and not washed out.

-Special Features-

No extras to speak of.

-Box Art-

The packaging on this one is excellent, right down to the DVD itself is just gorgeous. Gotta love the pentagrams.
