-Overview-
Three sailors stumble across a remote island when their boat sinks and they soon discover that said island is inhabited by the notorious Karl the Butcher (both Jr. and Sr.), who have amassed an army of sheet metal wearing psychos. They are soon captured and set loose into the wilderness whilst the “infantry of Doom” hunts them down for sport. The men cross paths with a trio of ninjas who have been ousted from the Meister’s (Karl) army and are staging a revolt. Mayhem ensues.
Andreas Schnass’ films are horror’s equivalent to porn. You don’t watch for the gripping storyline and brilliant dialogue, you’re there for the visuals. And plenty of visuals there are. In Schnass’ trademark style, the viewer is treated to all manner of gory and violent death. The effects range from well done to the atrocious, and the “dialogue” is laughable. Not as good as the first two entries in the series in my opinion, but certainly worth checking out if you’re a gore fan.
