Slaughter Hotel

(a.k.a. The Beast Kills in Cold Blood )

(Fernando Di Leo; 1971)

(Shriek Show)

-Overview-

A psychopath is butchering the nurses and patients at a rest home for the mentally unstable.

This is one wonderfully sleazy film. The gore is a little thin, but the film makes up for that with the extremely sleazy gratuitous nudity that really needs to be experienced to be appreciated, and by some really beautiful young women to boot. Klaus Kinski is excellent as the resident Doctor, and the film is evenly paced. Highly recommended.

-Sound-

Atrocious sound quality. The soundtrack crackles constantly and cuts out often, sometimes during dialogue.

-Picture-

An adequate print but flawed. Widescreen.

-Special Features-

-         Photo Gallery

-Packaging-
