-Overview-

A giant pig kills a man’s grandchild in backwoods Australia and he is accused of murdering the little snot. Years later, a nosy animal rights reporter is snooping around the seedy bars and the like in search of a story, interviewing hunters. She somehow ends up out in the middle of nowhere with some backwoods hillbilly types who attempt to rape her, but are scared off by the giant pig who quickly eats her. Her husband sets out in search of what happened to her and ends up meeting the old man whose grandkid was killed, who is now hunting and killing all the giant pigs. Eventually the husband encounters the giant pig and mayhem ensues.

What a dull little film. I could hardly bring myself to pay attention, hence the vague synopsis above. The film drags on and on, subjecting the viewer to scene after scene of barren Australian wasteland and scene after scene of toothless greasy Aussie scumbags. There’s no gore whatsoever, same goes for T&A. I think the film maker was attempting to meld Moby Dick with Jaws, and failed miserably. Avoid.
