Olga’s House of Shame

-Overview-

Part of Something Weird's Olga Triple Feature this is one campy piece of 60's sleaze. If you can get past the first half, which borders on sleep inducing tedium sprinkled with a little bit of devotchka torture and abuse, the second half is when the film kicks into high gear. Story goes something like this: Olga runs a crime syndicate involving drugs and prostitution and she has just recently expanded into jewel smuggling. When she's double crossed by one of her drop off girls she and her associate decide to torture the info out of her. Then there's some stuff about some of her other girls basically pissing her off and Olga punishing them. The film plays like an old educational video with actors who talk but they are overdubbed by music and narration. Plenty of 60's lingerie and boobies abound with some really pathetic torture sequences and mock-lesbianism. There's a rather amusing scene involving a soldering iron and a captive's breasts. Rather tame by today's standards, I found it to be a rather enjoyable schlock film.
