Hatred of a Minute
(Michael Kallio; 2001)
(Anchor Bay Entertainment)
-Overview-
The story about an angst ridden man who had a torturous childhood which manifests itself in his self delusion that he needs to save battered women by killing them in really dull ways.
Apparently it took the filmmakers 10 years to finish this sorry little film. The film is completely inept. The concept had potential, but the execution is very poor. The acting is sub par, there’s very little gore, and absolutely no T&A, despite ample opportunity (the fiancée is hot). That coupled with Bruce Campbell being involved (as producer) and of course being unable to keep his stupid ugly face out of the film makes this one to avoid unless you’re an incurable insomniac.
-Sound-
Stereo. No noticeable annoyances. The dialogue is clear and the music isn’t too overpowering.
-Picture-
Widescreen 1.66:1. A decent transfer of a not all that decent film.
