Frogs

(George McCowan; 1972)

(MGM/UA)

-Overview-

An environmental reporter taking photographs of a polluted lake gets run into by a couple of rich locals and ends up staying at their estate. Strange things are happening as it appear that all the pollution has mutated some of the wildlife into growing abnormally large and aggressive. Could this be nature’s revenge against man?

Yawn. This film offers absolutely nothing of interest. No gore, no T&A (The film was only rated PG when it was released, after all) and just nothing but some lame dialogue and shots of reptiles doing whatever it is that reptiles do. Don’t bother.

-Sound-

Mono. Dolby Digital 2.0.

-Picture-

Grainy and slightly off color and it appears that the print may have been damaged. Some artifacting. Widescreen 1.85:1. The film really shows its age.

-Special Features-

Original theatrical trailer.

-Packaging-

Decent packaging. Standard DVD keep case.
