-Overview-

A single mother (Barbara Hershey) is plagued by an unseen being who insists on brutally raping her at every given opportunity. She turns to a local Psychiatrist to see if she is going crazy, even though she knows otherwise. Doubting the existence of supernatural beings, the shrink insists that it’s all psychological. At her wit’s end, she turns to some Parapsychology students from the nearby University to help her be rid of the thing once and for all. Based on a true account.

I’m not much into ghost films, but I was pleasantly surprised with this one. The effects (done by the legendary Stan Winston) are very well done especially the sequences where you can see the indentations of invisible fingers on her breasts as she is being raped. Being a ghost film there’s no gore whatsoever, which is pretty much par for the course. There is an ample amount of T&A as can be expected however, courtesy of the lovely Barbara Hershey.
